festival-fair · 2026-04-27

Alcova's seventh iteration, overseen by curators Valentina Ciuffi and Joseph Grima, is set to take place from April 15 to 21, 2024, with a preview on April 14, in Varedo, Brianza, close to Milan. This event, which draws more than 90,000 attendees each year, will occur at Villa Bagatti Valsecchi and Villa Borsani, emphasizing themes of dwelling, materials, aesthetics, craft, and social interaction. Villa Bagatti Valsecchi, a 19th-century structure under the care of Fondazione La Versiera 1718, showcases neobaroque design and Italian gardens. Meanwhile, Villa Borsani, a modernist work finished in 1945 by Osvaldo Borsani, contains contemporary art and the Archivio Osvaldo Borsani. Details on how exhibitors will redesign the villa for Alcova 2024 remain undisclosed.
