Alberto Michalette's Museum Education Podcast Hits 20 Episodes

Alberto Michalette, known online as 'Tellurio', launched the 'Museum Education podcast' in 2023, building on Instagram content he started in 2021 during Erasmus in Brussels. A graduate in Art Didactics from the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples, he works as a museum educator and cultural mediator. The podcast, released Sunday mornings, targets professionals and aspiring educators, addressing precarious working conditions and accessibility in Italian museums. After 20 episodes, it has become both a discussion forum and a study tool. Michalette highlights best practices from MSK and S.M.A.K. in Ghent, Belgium, where education departments are central and co-creation with students yields long-term results. He is developing a card game for educational project writing and a publication on museum education, and aims to grow his cultural association riTROVO into a reference point for education.
