Alberto Di Fabio opens Studio DFB in Rome for emerging artists

Alberto Di Fabio, born in 1966 in Avezzano, has transformed his venue at via Montecuccoli in Rome's Pigneto district into a hub for exhibitions, workshops, and events for many years. Known as Studio DFB, the space is dedicated to nurturing emerging talent beyond conventional pathways. Currently, the exhibition 'Collezione d’Artista / Artist Collection. Artisti che collezionano Artisti' is on display until March 18, 2022, showcasing pieces from Di Fabio's collection, including works by Alighiero Boetti, Lucas Beaufort, and others. Di Fabio views collecting as a means to reflect on life's journey and pay tribute to fellow artists. Additionally, on May 26–27, 2022, Studio DFB will present 'Arte in Mente – Grandi Artisti incontrano Grandi Bambini,' an initiative by ARTEinMENTE that engages children with behavioral challenges in creative workshops. Participating artists include Di Fabio with his daughters and others. Workshops have taken place at Casino dell’Aurora Pallavicini and Museo Macro, emphasizing the connection between art and life.
