Alanis Morrisette designs Illy coffee cups, supporting women coffee producers
Alanis Morrisette is the latest artist to design Illy coffee cups, joining a roster that includes Michelangelo Pistoletto, Marina Abramović, and Jeff Koons since 1992. The cups feature lyrics from her song "Morning," which serves as the soundtrack for Illy's 2014 documentary "A Small Section of the World," directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Lesley Chilcott. The documentary tells the story of the Asomobi (Asociación de Mujeres Organizadas de Biolley), a multi-generational community of women coffee producers in Costa Rica.
