Alain Kirili Remembered by Artists and Critics at Annual Festival
The 24th annual festival honoring sculptor Alain Kirili is set to begin on June 11. This year, 21 artists, critics, and associates, including editor David Cohen, will participate in the celebration of Kirili’s contributions to the art world. Cohen will moderate a Zoom discussion with artists such as Michael Attis and Dorothea Rockburne. Kirili’s work will be displayed through three sculptures at Hionas and Valentine galleries in Ridgewood until the end of May, with ongoing exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art until February 7. The festival will also feature the NEWD Art Show and artist Joyce Robins.
