Al Gore's 'An Inconvenient Sequel' Premieres in Rome at MAXXI

Eleven years after 'An Inconvenient Truth' won the Oscar for Best Documentary, Al Gore returns to the screen with 'An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power,' directed by Bonni Cohen and Jon Shenk. The film assesses current climate change challenges and progress over the past decade. It will be released as a special event in Italian theaters on October 31 and November 1, distributed by 20th Century Fox Italia. A preview screening will take place at the Auditorium of MAXXI – National Museum of 21st Century Arts in Rome on Friday, October 20 at 6:30 PM, organized by HITalk and 20th Century Fox Italia. Speakers at the event include Simone Molteni, scientific director of LifeGate and general director of LifeGate Energy since 2015; Mario Tozzi, geologist and CNR researcher; and Valerio Ponzo, Climate Leader for Climate Reality Europe, the nonprofit organization founded by Nobel Peace Prize laureate Al Gore. Molteni described the film as a powerful call to action, emphasizing the urgency of abandoning fossil fuels and transitioning to renewable energy.
