Airbus Revenue Rises 12% on Aircraft Delivery Rebound

Airbus reported first-half revenue of €33.2 billion, up 12% year-over-year, driven by a recovery in commercial aircraft deliveries. The European aerospace giant's earnings were lifted across all business segments as airlines and lessors took delivery of new planes. The strong performance reflects easing supply chain constraints and robust demand for air travel, particularly in Asia and the Middle East. Airbus delivered 323 aircraft in the first half, compared to 297 in the same period last year, with the A320 family accounting for the bulk of deliveries. The company maintained its full-year delivery target of 800 aircraft, despite ongoing challenges in engine and parts supply. Adjusted earnings before interest and taxes rose 15% to €2.8 billion, while net income increased to €2.1 billion. Airbus also reaffirmed its 2026 financial targets, including a goal of 1,000 aircraft deliveries annually by mid-decade.
