Airbnb offers one-night stay in Musée d'Orsay's clock room for Paris 2024 Olympics
Airbnb has launched a new project called 'Icons,' featuring 11 exceptional destinations, mostly free or under $100 per guest. Among them is the legendary clock room of the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, transformed into a bedroom for a single night on July 26, 2024, the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The room, hosted by designer Mathieu Lehanneur, offers a suspended view of Paris through the historic glass and steel clock. The bed faces the clock, with ceramic flowers framing the headboard, two leather sofas, the Olympic torch designed by Lehanneur, and a boxing bag. Guests also get private access to the museum's panoramic terrace overlooking the Seine. The Musée d'Orsay, once a railway station, houses the world's largest collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist works.
