Aichi Triennale 2025 Announces Full Artist Roster for 'A Time Between Ashes and Roses'

The Aichi Triennale 2025 edition, titled 'A Time Between Ashes and Roses,' will feature an extensive lineup of international artists across contemporary art and performing arts programs. Artistic director Hoor Al Qasimi leads the event, scheduled from September 13 to November 30, 2025, across three primary venues: Aichi Arts Center, Aichi Prefectural Ceramic Museum, and Seto City. The contemporary art program introduces global works through local and international participants, while performing arts showcase innovative theater and dance productions. Collaborative programming with organizations and art universities will be complemented by pop-up traveling exhibitions throughout the prefecture. Notable participants include Basel Abbas and Ruanne Abou-Rahme, John Akomfrah, Simone Leigh, Wangechi Mutu, and Michael Rakowitz in the contemporary art segment. Performing arts features groups like Black Grace, Faustin Linyekula, and OLTAS.
