AIA Estúdio Designs Three-Level Panō Store in Ipanema

AIA Estúdio has completed the design for the new Panō store located on Garcia D'Ávila street in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro. The project, covering 260 square meters, was commissioned to reorganize the program of the former Casa Panō, which previously operated on a single level, into three floors. The vertical circulation was conceived as a structuring element, creating a journey where each floor presents a deliberate variation in atmosphere, aiming to establish a dialogue with the brand's identity and memory. The architectural team includes Alice Tepedino as lead architect, with collaborators Julia Martinelli, Arthur Cordeiro, Renan Vargas, and Miguel Ajuz. The project is categorized as commercial architecture and is slated for completion in 2026. Photographs of the project were taken by Maíra Acayaba.
