AI Adoption in Education: Study on Teacher Support and Confidence
A research paper released on arXiv (2605.00343) investigated the integration of AI by 260 educators in the Philippines, emphasizing the roles of institutional backing, teacher confidence, and apprehensions. The moderated multiple regression analysis indicated that institutional support was a strong predictor of both teacher confidence and their perspectives on AI. Nonetheless, teacher concerns did not influence these dynamics. Additionally, a subsequent mediation analysis indicated that confidence completely mediated the relationship between institutional support and attitudes, with a notable indirect effect confirmed through the Sobel test.
