The 79th Cannes Film Festival awarded its Palme d'Or for the second time to Romanian director Cristian Mungiu for his film 'Fjord'. The festival also featured 'Minotaure', a film about the Russo-Ukrainian war by Russian director Andrey Zvyagintsev.
