Agnelli-Piaggio estate in Tuscany listed for €16 million

The Agnelli-Piaggio estate, a historic property in Tuscany spanning over 14,000 square meters, is currently on the market for around €16 million, listed by Lionard Luxury Real Estate. This estate, which dates back to the 15th century, includes a main villa, a private chapel, a lemon house, staff accommodations, 13 apartments, farmhouses, a spa, three swimming pools, a private lake, a tennis court, a bowling alley, and an Italian garden. Designed by Bartolomeo Ammannati and completed in 1589, it was established on land given by the Republic of Florence in 1406. The Capponi family owned it for generations before Enrico Piaggio acquired it in the 1950s, hosting numerous celebrities. The villa became a symbol of unity between two dynasties with the marriage of Antonella Bechi Piaggio and Umberto Agnelli in 1959. Giovanni Alberto Agnelli lived there during the 1990s, tending to vineyards for Varramista wines.
