ai-technology · 2026-08-10

According to a report released on Sunday by Smart Analytics Global (SAG), a research firm based in San Francisco, AgiBot, headquartered in Shanghai, overtook its domestic competitor Unitree Robotics in the first half of 2026, establishing itself as the largest humanoid robot vendor worldwide. With approximately 8,400 humanoid robots shipped between January and June, AgiBot secured 44% of the global market, marking a remarkable 562% increase from the previous year. This growth is attributed to a varied product lineup, including full-size A-series bipedal models, compact X-series robots, and wheeled G-series devices. As both companies aim for capital markets, AgiBot is reportedly gearing up for an IPO, highlighting the rapid development of China's physical AI sector.
