Agent Lifecycle Toolkit: Middleware for Robust AI Agents

The Agent Lifecycle Toolkit, or ALTK, is a flexible, open-source collection of middleware designed to tackle common issues that arise during enterprise AI agent deployments. These problems include misunderstandings of tool arguments that could affect production data, unnoticed reasoning errors, and outputs that may violate company policies. ALTK offers structured solutions throughout the agent's lifecycle, covering stages such as after a user request, before prompting the LLM, after processing LLM outputs, before validating tools, after verifying results, and before assembling responses.
