Agathe Rosa's sonic journey for Carico Massimo's podcast channel
Carico Massimo, a collective from Livorno established in 2012, marks the inaugural anniversary of its podcast platform On Air with a new creation by French artist Agathe Rosa. The work, titled "Noi siamo spazio," takes listeners on an auditory and visual exploration from the personal realm of her body to the solar winds in the upper atmosphere, commissioned by Valentina Costa. This launch coincides with the 17th Giornata del Contemporaneo. The podcast series Rubriche d’aria, overseen by Juan Pablo Macias and Alessandra Poggianti, offers weekly discussions with artists, philosophers, curators, historians, and scientists on the sociocultural significance of air. Supported by Regione Toscana, Comune di Livorno, and Centro per l’arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci di Prato, select content will be featured on Artribune, alongside unpublished texts by Gustav Metzger and Ferdinando Mazzitelli, a live "Wind Pressure Concert" by Silva Hell performed by Marco Lenzi this autumn, and new works for the Archivio d’Aria, including a performance by Samson Young and contributions from Eva Brioschi.
