Afterall Symposium Explores Artist as Curator at Whitechapel Gallery

On 19 April 2013, the Whitechapel Gallery hosted a round table discussion as part of the 'Artist as Curator: Collaborative Practices' symposium. Chaired by Pablo Lafuente, the panel included Liu Ding, Clémentine Deliss, Ines Doujak, and Oliver Ressler, with translation by Wenrui Zhao. The event examined collaborative approaches in contemporary art curation. Additionally, the Afterall archive features Cynthia Maughan's 1975 videos 'Coffin from Toothpicks' (1min 54sec, b/w, sound) and 'The Way Underpants Really Are' (1min 17sec, b/w, sound), courtesy of Electronic Arts Intermix (EAI), New York.
