Afterall launches Exhibition Histories series at Swiss Institute

On 5 November 2010, the Swiss Institute at 495 Broadway, 3rd floor, New York, hosted the launch of Afterall's Exhibition Histories series. The event featured a conversation among artists Lawrence Weiner, Rafael Ferrer, and Keith Sonnier, moderated by Christian Rattemeyer. The inaugural publication, 'Exhibiting the New Art: 'Op Losse Schroeven' and 'When Attitudes Become Form' 1969', examines two landmark 1969 exhibitions that redefined contemporary art. The series investigates exhibitions that have shaped how art is experienced, made, and discussed.
