Afterall Journal Issue 49 Launch: Hyunjin Kim on siren eun young jung
Afterall journal has just put out issue 49, titled 'Extractivism'. This edition features a talk by Hyunjin Kim, who is the KADIST Lead Curator for Asia and was behind the Korean Pavilion at the 2019 Venice Biennale. Kim explores the art of siren eun young jung, relating it to Yeoseong Gukgeuk, a traditional queer theatre in Korea.
