Afterall Journal Issue 48 Launch: 20 Years of Publishing

On Thursday, 3 October 2023, from 18:00 to 20:00, Afterall Journal will unveil its 48th issue titled 'Looking Back, Looking Forward: 20 Years of Afterall' at the LVMH Lecture Theatre, located in the Granary Building at Central Saint Martins, 1 Granary Square, King's Cross, London N1C 4AA. This event is complimentary and accessible to everyone. The discussion will feature Directors Charles Esche and Mark Lewis, along with editor Ute Meta Bauer and contributing editor Charles Stankievech, who will reflect on two decades of Afterall and its impact on curatorial and artistic practices. Esche serves as Director of Van Abbemuseum and is a Professor at Central Saint Martins; Lewis is an artist and Professor at Central Saint Martins; Bauer is the Founding Director of NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore; Stankievech is the Director of Visual Studies at the University of Toronto.
