Afterall and University of Gothenburg Host Ecologies of Art Publishing
Between October 12 and 14, 2022, the University of Gothenburg teamed up with Afterall to present "Ecologies of Art Publishing." This three-day gathering featured a mix of public discussions, symposiums, and book launches. The focus was on how publishing functions as a platform for relationships and creativity, exploring its complex role in the creation of knowledge and art. During the event on October 13, Afterall editors David Morris and Wing Chan joined a Zoom discussion called "To Research Publishing," where they introduced the Exhibition Histories book series. Other speakers included Rose Brander, Sarah Tuck, Eva Weinmayr, and Gerrie van Noord, with Mick Wilson moderating the session.
