Afterall and Para Site launch podcast series exploring Ha Bik Chuen's work and collecting practices

Launched in July 2025, the podcast series 'Reframing Strangeness' is a joint effort between Afterall and Para Site in Hong Kong, designed to complement an exhibition highlighting artist Ha Bik Chuen's motherboards and collagraphs. From July to September 2025, three episodes were released. The first episode aired on July 21, featuring curator Michelle Wun Ting Wong, who discussed Ha's motherboards and their connection to Hong Kong's history since the 1970s. The second episode, on August 17, included Grace Samboh and Ruhaeni Intan from the Yogyakarta collective Hyphen—, alongside editor David Morris, focusing on memory and legacy. The series concluded with Mike Fok discussing Yixing teapots on September 29. Production was overseen by Arianna Mercado, with co-editing by Elisa Adami, Wing Chan, Adeena Mey, and David Morris.
