Afterall and Chimurenga co-publish FESTAC ’77 book
The second edition of the 'FESTAC ’77: The World Black and African Festival of Arts and Culture' has been jointly released by Afterall's Exhibition Histories series and Chimurenga. This is the third book in the Chimurenga Library series. It details the impactful festival held in Lagos, Nigeria, back in 1977, which gathered numerous artists and intellectuals from the African diaspora.
