After Reminiscence: Young Italian Artists Explore Memory at Cassina Projects, Milan

The group exhibition 'After Reminiscence,' curated by Federico Montagna at Cassina Projects in Milan, presents new works by eight Italian artists born between 1990 and 2001. The show examines reminiscence as a dual concept: a collective memory reservoir and a foundation for individual critical thought. Artists include Matilde Sambo (installation, drawings, sculptures), Martina Zanin (photography), Leonardo Devito and Carla Giacco Darias (oils), Norberto Spina (mixed-media paintings evoking blurred memories from family and Italian pop culture), Aronne Pleuteri (acrylic, oil, pastel compositions blending abstraction and figuration), Camilla Alberti (sculptures from wood, metal, plaster in 'The Adoubement. Ceremony for Extremophile Bodies' series, previously shown at the Italian Pavilion of the Gwangju Biennale in 2023), and VEGA (Francesca Pionati and Tommaso Arnaldi, video work on the impact of two datacenters on Rome's EUR district). The exhibition runs at Cassina Projects on Via Mecenate.
