Four-year-old Afghan hound Samantha, known on Instagram as @afghanhoundinthecity, has become a style icon under the styling of Edinburgh-based owner Bethany Plevri. Plevri, a young executive and mother of two, dresses Samantha in designer scarves, sunglasses, and hats from brands such as Hermès, Gucci, Chanel, and Valentino—though the looks often come from Plevri's own closet or local thrift stores. The dog's wardrobe includes Tom Ford satin, motocross leather jackets, and pearls. Plevri, who chose the name to sound like a 1960s roommate, grooms Samantha daily with a 30-minute ritual.
