festival-fair · 2026-05-05

Affordable Art Fair, the itinerant contemporary art fair known for capping artwork prices at €6,000, returns to Milan from January 26 to 28 at Superstudio Più. Now in its eighth edition in the Lombard capital, the fair hosts 85 international galleries. Newcomers include ArtBlue from Singapore and Kitai Kikaku from Tokyo, reflecting growing Eastern interest in Milan's contemporary art scene. The 2018 edition, titled 'Living with Art,' explores the journey from first encounter to purchase through talks curated by Open Care experts. A central pavilion dedicated to Young Talents is curated by Angelica Gatto and Emanuele Riccomi, graduates of CAMPO, the curatorial course at Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Turin. The opening night features performances and a DJ set by Haussmann and Dj Kramer in collaboration with Elita. A special section, Milano Contemporary, highlights Milanese galleries, including Maroncelli 12, which presents Californian artist Dan Miller, who also exhibited at the 57th Venice Biennale.
