Affordable Art Fair Milano 2020: Top 3 Galleries Selected

The Affordable Art Fair Milano returned in strong form for its tenth anniversary, with packed halls and a long queue outside the entrance on opening night. The fair's formula of accessible, low-cost art (capped at €7,500) proved successful, including a wrapping station for purchased works. Among the Italian and international stands, glitter, enamel paints, fluo colors, and Banksy citations were abundant, with iconic figures like Mona Lisa, Mickey Mouse, and the Joker popular. The fair took place at SuperStudio Più in Milan. Three standout galleries were highlighted: Systema Gallery from Osaka, Japan, featuring Eri Hirachi's hi-tech installation of spheres on electronic devices, plus works by Yuki Harada, Hakuseki Iwai, and Isako Ohkochi; Eggers 2.0 from Turin, a creative factory by Elisa Baldissera and Luigi Leto (Letaz), presenting autobiographical marine themes and forest-inspired plaster casts; and La Galeria de Guadalajara from Guadalajara, Spain, showcasing Javier Orozco's futuristic works from recycled mechanical and electronic parts, alongside bronze figurines by Sonia Cardunets and iron warriors by Miguel Almendro.
