Aesthetica Art Prize 2025 and Future Tense Open at York Art Gallery
York Art Gallery is set to feature two exhibitions beginning on September 19, 2025, running until January 25, 2026. One of the exhibitions, the Aesthetica Art Prize 2025, will showcase works from 25 artists selected from various mediums, including sculpture and photography. This prize, established in 2007, has previously highlighted artists such as Larry Achiampong and Jenn Nkiru. Additionally, the exhibition titled Future Tense will present interactive art installations like Squidsoup's Submergence and Liz West's Our Spectral Vision. Cherie Federico, director of Aesthetica, will oversee both exhibitions, with winners announced on September 18, 2025.
