Adriano Giannini narrates Roman Papal Basilicas documentary on Sky Arte

A documentary titled 'San Pietro e le Basiliche Papali di Roma', produced by Sky 3D with the Vatican Television Center and in collaboration with Nexo Digital, Magnitudo Film, and Sky Arte HD, will air on Sky Arte on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, during prime time. The film focuses on four major papal basilicas in Rome: St. Peter's, St. John Lateran, St. Mary Major, and St. Paul Outside the Walls. It previously achieved box office success in theaters. The documentary features narration by actor Adriano Giannini, who reads passages from Stendhal's 'Passeggiate Romane', a work describing the author's Grand Tour itineraries in Rome. The film combines unprecedented footage with Giannini's voice to create a journey through art, history, and culture, timed to coincide with the 2025 Jubilee.
