Adriana Polveroni Appointed Director of ArtVerona

institutional · 2026-05-05

Adriana Polveroni has been named the new director of ArtVerona, taking over from Andrea Bruciati, who now leads Villa Adriana and Villa d'Este. Veronafiere spa granted her a three-year term after selecting her from a pool of 20 candidates due to her significant experience in art fairs. Polveroni's association with ArtVerona dates back to 2014. Her vision includes broadening the collector demographic and strengthening the ties between culture and commerce, while building upon Bruciati's successes and emphasizing the Italian art market. Since 2012, she has served as the director of Exibart, a position she will pass to Cesare Biasini Selvaggi. Additionally, she has curated many exhibitions and written extensively on contemporary art.
