Adriana Narbona Creates Self-Published Illustrated Book 'Lorien and The Forgotten Kingdom'

Adriana Narbona, a designer and illustrator from Seville, has crafted a self-published children's book titled 'Lorien and The Forgotten Kingdom', which merges narrative illustration, world-building, and editorial design. Originally conceived as her Final Degree Project, it received an exceptional grade. Narbona undertook every element, including writing, layout, illustration, visual identity, typography, and additional materials. The narrative centers on a young protagonist, Lorien, who faces a peril threatening her medieval fantasy world, exploring themes of courage, personal development, and environmental consciousness. The editorial design serves as an emotional catalyst, with typography adapting to reflect the tone and layout promoting engagement. Narbona also created interactive features, sensory elements, and a booklet detailing the graphic system. Although the project remains unpublished, it is fully developed. Her qualifications include training in traditional fine arts, a degree in Graphic Design, and a Branding specialization from IED.
