Adolescence Group Exhibition at NEWEAST Explores Teenage Experience

The exhibition "Adolescence" opens on April 30, 2026 at 19:00, with an after-party from 20:00 to 23:00 at Alina Cafe & Bar. Curated by Katarzyna Kołodziej-Podsiadło, Joanna Kordjak, and Julia Marchand, the show features works by over 30 artists including Mohamed Bourouissa, Matt Copson, Gisèle Vienne, Anhar Salem, and the Ukrainian collective fra fra fra. The exhibition addresses themes of vulnerability, shame, identity, systemic violence, cyberbullying, and the mental health crisis among teenagers. Works include Matt Copson's laser opera "Age of Coming" and Dasha Chechushkova's installation presenting works by young Ukrainians. The show aims to create a space for teenage voices and explores how art can support emotional crises and build agency.
