Adobe Expands ChatGPT Integration with Unified Plugin

Adobe has announced a new plugin for ChatGPT that brings over 70 tools from its software suite directly into the conversational AI platform. This follows an earlier integration of Photoshop, Express, and Acrobat into ChatGPT. The plugin allows users to edit photos, resize videos, generate social media assets, and perform batch photo editing without leaving ChatGPT. Tools from Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, Express, Firefly, Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, and Stock are included. The move is seen as a direct challenge to Canva, targeting less experienced users. Vibhor Chhabra, product lead for the ChatGPT Ecosystem at OpenAI, expressed excitement about expanding the partnership. Adobe's Deepti Pradeep highlighted use cases such as automatic image improvement, asset creation, video resizing, and batch editing. The plugin is available now, with optional Adobe account sign-in for access to Creative Cloud files and generative AI. Pradeep noted that Adobe's tools have been expanded across AI chatbots including ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot, with Slack and Gemini coming soon. The plugin is designed to meet users where they work, with deeper exploration possible in Adobe's apps.
