Adidas Originals Launches Sport Collection with Aerial Dance at The Edge

Adidas Originals debuted its inaugural Sport collection on Wednesday night at The Edge, Manhattan's highest observation deck at 1,300 feet. The event featured a finale of four women performing an aerial dance on the side of the skyscraper, preceded by a runway show with pole artists, acrobats, and dancers. The collection blends signature Originals styles with training-ready tech, centered on the 3-Stripes design. Attendees included Olympian heptathlete Anna Hall, singer-songwriter Coco Jones, model Lori Harvey, Camila Marrone, and Ciara Miller. Hall, who signed with Adidas in 2022, noted the brand's support for women's sports and its sponsorship of her idol Jackie Joyner-Kersee. Jones highlighted the nostalgia of the 3-Stripes from her high school days. Harvey appreciated the retro resurgence. The evening concluded with a DJ set and a glass-walled banquet room. The event emphasized female empowerment and personal style without compromising performance.
