ADFF 2026–27 Opens in New York with World Premieres on Radić, Piano, and Social Housing
The 2026–27 season of the Architecture & Design Film Festival (ADFF) will kick off in New York from October 12 to 17, beginning at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) before transitioning to Village East by Angelika. The festival's opening night will feature the world premiere of MUNDO FRÁGIL, a film directed by Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine, focusing on architect Similjan Radić, the recipient of the 2026 Pritzker Prize. Another highlight is the premiere of Five Living Buildings, which presents projects by Renzo Piano. The lineup also includes Googie, bauhaus forever., and Out of The Picture, delving into themes of permanence in architecture and film. Additional editions will take place in Toronto, Vancouver, Mumbai, Detroit, and Chicago, with tickets available from September 1.
