Adelisa Selimbašić's First Solo Show in Milan Explores Female Imagery

Adelisa Selimbašić (b. 1996) presents her first solo exhibition, 'Non ci incontreremo mai così giovani,' at Spazio State Of in Milan, curated by Luca Zuccala and produced by Ipercubo. The show features twenty-five works, including large-scale paintings, all depicting female characters in their own worlds. The title is ironic, playing with time to create disorientation and ambiguity; shadows in some works follow different directions, suggesting each subject belongs to a different time or place. Selimbašić creates self-contained yet interconnected microcosms.
