Adam AI CAD Harness Integrates with Onshape and Fusion
Adam, a new AI-powered CAD harness, is now available in beta for Autodesk Fusion and PTC Onshape. Developed by co-founder Zach, the tool integrates directly into existing CAD software, reading parts and editing the feature tree agentically. Unlike previous prompt-to-3D experiments, Adam provides full visibility and control, allowing mechanical engineers to automate tasks such as merging redundant features, renaming features for readability, rounding internal edges with a 2mm fillet, and parametrizing models. The harness is installed via dedicated links for Fusion and Onshape.
