ADA: New Rome Gallery for Young Italian Art
On September 27, Rolando Anselmi and Carla Chiarchiaro will open ADA, a new gallery in Rome focused on promoting young Italian contemporary art. The name, not an acronym, derives from proximity to Villa Ada. ADA will operate at the existing Galleria Rolando Anselmi space on Via Tor Fiorenza 18-20, alternating with the Berlin gallery founded in 2011. The program will include outdoor projects, fairs, and publications, with projects every two months. The inaugural exhibition is a solo show by Luca De Leva (born 1986, Milan) titled 'Ultime Volontà', featuring sculptures and drawings. Following shows include Art Verona and a solo by Lorenzo Pace (born 1984, Rome). Chiarchiaro previously worked at Frutta gallery in Trastevere since 2016. Both founders emphasize generational affinity and collaborative relationships with artists.
