Activestills Collective Exhibition on Palestinian Resistance at Fabbrica del Vapore

From May 3 to 17, 2026, Milan's Fabbrica del Vapore will showcase 'Documenting life, death and resistance in Palestine,' an exhibition organized by the Prospekt Palestine Project for the LIFE festival, presented by Zona K. The Activestills collective, established in 2005, has amassed an archive exceeding 56,000 images that chronicle Palestinian resistance to Israeli colonial violence over more than two decades, highlighting the ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing in the region. Since October 2023, international journalists have been prohibited from entering Gaza without supervision, resulting in Palestinian photographers taking on the role of primary documenters. Featured artists include Mohammed Zaanoun, Yousef Zaanoun, Doaa Albaz, and Ahmad Al-Bazz. Admission to the exhibition is free for all.
