Acme Studios cofounder Jonathan Harvey dies at 74

Jonathan Harvey OBE, who passed away at the age of 74, was a pivotal figure in the arts community as the co-founder of Acme Studios in London, established in 1972 alongside David Panton. Acme serves as a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable living and studio spaces for visual creators, as well as offering residencies and awards. Harvey and Panton were honored with OBEs in 2014 for their contributions to the arts. Since inception, Acme has assisted over 7,000 artists, managing more than 500 studios. A tribute to Harvey's contributions will be held during Acme's 50th-anniversary event in London on November 9, 2023.
