Achille Lauro mobilizes fans for music video production

Achille Lauro, fresh off a platinum record for his album "Incoscienti Giovani," is involving his fanbase in the creation of his latest music videos. After a successful call for extras for the video of "Amor"—shot at iconic Rome locations like Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza di Spagna, and Stadio dei Marmi—he now asks fans to submit clips for the video of "Cristina," a song dedicated to his mother. The deadline for submissions was April 27, and the video is expected online by Mother's Day, May 11. The Rome city administration, including Mayor Roberto Gualtieri and Assessor Alessandro Onorato, supported the "Amor" video shoot. Lauro's connection to Rome is central to his identity; born in Verona, he grew up in the suburbs of Serpentara and Vigne Nuove. His recent duet with Antonello Venditti underscored his Roman pride. Lauro is also confirmed for the May Day concert in Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano. His tour dates at Circo Massimo sold out, and he has attracted brand partnerships with Dolce & Gabbana, Damiani, and McDonald's.
