Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze opens applications for five 2022-2023 master's programs
The Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze has opened applications until October 10, 2022, for five first-level master's programs for the 2022-2023 academic year. Each master lasts one year (1500 hours, 60 credits) and requires an AFAM diploma or bachelor's degree. The programs span ceramics, fashion accessories, art documentaries, sound design, and textile art. The Master in Design del prodotto ceramico, in collaboration with Comune di Montelupo Fiorentino and Colorobbia, focuses on 3D modeling for ceramic products. The Master in Design per l'artigianato accessorio moda e sistemi per l'innovazione, with Isia and CNA Toscana, trains artisans for the fashion accessory sector with a focus on Industry 4.0. The Master in L'arte di filmare l'arte, with Toscana Film Commission, DNArt, and Project Italia, covers all stages of art documentary production. The Master in Suono e immagine, jointly with Conservatorio 'Luigi Cherubini' di Firenze and RAI Toscana, trains sound designers for audiovisual, video games, and sound installations. The Master in Textile – creazione di tessuti d'arte, with Fondazione Arte della Seta Lisio and Murate Art District, teaches handloom and jacquard weaving techniques, including fiber art. Two scholarships are available for the ceramics master.
