AC Milan Opens First Football Club Art Gallery with Street Art Show
AC Milan has inaugurated Casa Milan, the first permanent art gallery within a football club headquarters, located at Via Aldo Rossi in Milan. Designed by architect Fabio Novembre, the space opened on May 28, 2015, with a solo exhibition titled "Strada Milan I" by street artist No Curves (pseudonym), known for creating urban geometries using colored adhesive tape. The show features site-specific works that translate football tactics into dynamic line compositions, alongside portraits of current players and legends like Franco Baresi. Curated by Manfredi Brunelli Bonetti, artistic director of Avantgarden Gallery in Milan, the exhibition runs until August 30, 2015. Casa Milan joins the existing Museo Mondo Milan, Cucina Milanello restaurant, and Milan Store within the club's headquarters. Three additional street art exhibitions are planned. While many top clubs like Juventus, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, and Manchester United have trophy museums, Casa Milan is the first to host a dedicated art gallery.
