Abu Dhabi gallery owners offered Czech government AstraZeneca vaccines from UK and India

Natalya Muzaleva and Istvan Perger, owners of Abu Dhabi's N2N gallery, proposed supplying at least one million AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine doses to the Czech government. Documents obtained by Reuters indicate the couple claimed access to vaccines manufactured at AstraZeneca's UK and Indian facilities through a partner. The offer was communicated to the Czech ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, with Hungarian embassy officials reportedly endorsing the proposal. Muzaleva denied any deal was finalized while declining further comment. Czech authorities confirmed Hungarian diplomatic support for the offer, though connections to Viktor Orbán's government remain unclear. Hungary currently leads European Union vaccination rates. Founded in 2013 and located in Al Ain Tower along Abu Dhabi's Corniche, N2N gallery specializes in Ukrainian art and European Academic School of Painting. The gallery's collection includes 170 original paintings, prints, and sculptures. In a January interview with Gulf Today, Muzaleva emphasized that contemporary collectors seek compelling narratives bridging Eastern and Western cultures.
