Abu Dhabi Art 2023 Reveals Curators and Commissions
Abu Dhabi Art has revealed the artists and curators involved in its 2023 edition, scheduled for 22 to 26 November 2023. The Beyond Emerging Artists exhibition, led by curator Morad Montazami, will showcase commissions from Almaha Jaralla, Samo Shalaby, and Latifa Saeed, who share common themes regarding private and public spaces. Additionally, the Artist Commissions in Cultural Sites will feature unique works by Nujoom Al Ghanem and Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim at Al Jahili Fort and Al Ain Oasis. Al Ghanem expressed her excitement about exhibiting work created since 2020. The Gateway exhibition, curated by Venetia Porter, will highlight Hashel Al Lamki's Maqam, inspired by his Al Ain upbringing. All exhibitions and commissions will be available for viewing until the end of January 2024.
