About the Future: New Media Arts Festival Debuts in Campobasso
From November 18 to 21, 2021, Palazzo Ex-Gil in Campobasso will kick off the first-ever 'About the future – uno sguardo intorno al futuro', put together by Fondazione Molise Cultura. This festival explores the intersection of technological research and modern culture, blending art with digital innovation. Key figures like Valentino Catricalà, FLXER, Alessandra Arnò, and others will be involved. A special segment called 'Immagini in movimento' will feature notable artists like Mario Schifano and Pino Pascali, plus contemporary video art from the 2000s, curated by Arnò. Artistic director Luca Basilico highlights the combination of diverse global perspectives with local creativity, aiming to resonate with major digital art festivals worldwide.
