Abdelmonem Alserkal Receives Inaugural UAE Order for Culture and Creativity

Abdelmonem Alserkal, founder of Alserkal Initiatives, received the first UAE Order for Culture and Creativity. The award recognizes his extensive contributions to the arts in the United Arab Emirates. Alserkal Initiatives includes Alserkal Avenue, Alserkal Arts Foundation, and Alserkal Advisory. His philanthropic efforts have significantly supported UAE artists and fostered international cultural exchanges. The presentation occurred during the UAE Government's Annual Meeting 2024 in Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended the ceremony. Sheikh Mansour emphasized the nation's appreciation for cultural contributors. Alserkal's leadership has been crucial to the growth of the UAE's art scene globally.
