aA29 Project Room Opens Third Gallery in Reggio Emilia

aA29 Project Room, founded in 2014 by Gerardo Giurin and Antonio Cecora in Caserta, will open its third location in Reggio Emilia on June 14, 2019, with the exhibition Open Ceremony. The new space is an ex-industrial building near the historic center. The gallery, whose name references an asteroid formed from a collision between Earth and Theia, focuses on sociopolitical and environmental themes. Open Ceremony features works by Yvonne De Rosa, Ivan Grubanov, Jompet Kuswidananto, Isabella Pers, Tiziana Pers, Patrizia Posillipo, Matilde Sambo, Kyle Thompson, and Sasha Vinci. The gallery also has a location in Milan, opened a year after Caserta. The Reggio Emilia site serves both as storage (600 sqm) and a strategic commercial hub connecting Modena, Parma, and Bologna.
