a2mani: Limited Edition Artist Books and Albums at Elba Book Festival
Cesare Reggiani, a painter, illustrator, and musician based in Faenza and Paris, has launched a2mani, a limited edition collection of artist books and music albums created through collaboration between artists across different media. The project includes unconventional artist books, such as one with three videos by Sandro Chia accompanied by a 10-page leporello, and albums of set poetry with illustrated volumes. An example is Demons, the second album by HistriX, Reggiani's electro-acoustic group. The collection also features an Eccentric section for unclassifiable works, like a box set with a story by critic Ferruccio Giromini illustrated by Reggiani and music by HistriX. a2mani was presented at the Elba Book Festival.
