A LOT OF BALLS: Mexican Creatives Reimagine Voit Soccer Balls Ahead of 2026 World Cup
Over 100 Voit soccer balls transformed by Mexican artists, designers, and architects will debut at Magda restaurant in San Ángel on April 22, 2026. The exhibition, titled A LOT OF BALLS, is organized by Galería Ricardo Reyes with creative direction by Ricardo Casas. Participants include Gabriela Carrillo, Héctor Esrawe, Tania Candiani, Emiliano Godoy, Macario Jiménez, and Ricardo Covalin. Diez Company, under Rodrigo Fernández Barajas, contributes a sculptural lighting piece that deconstructs the ball's geometry. The show precedes the FIFA 2026 World Cup and will later travel to other venues in Mexico City. A final auction will benefit Fundación Origen, supporting women's development. The project positions Mexican design within a global cultural dialogue.
